How long will hair take to fall out?
GentleLASE will allow you to leave hairless. With Epilight, any remaining hairs will be pushed out in 1 to 2 weeks on their own. We treat every three to four weeks.Top] 2. How does treatment feel? Many describe treatment like a snap of a rubber band. You may be slightly red or swollen, but the skin usually resumes to normal by your ride home. [Top] 3. Does hair need to grow long before treatment? No, we need hair 1 mm long, usually shaved 2 days prior is good or we will clip area for you. Hair too long will waste energy on shaft. We need it short to grab energy and bring it to the root. Do not let it grow. [Top] 4. What methods of Electrology, Blend or Short-wave epilators are used? For 25 years we have successfully and permanently removed all types of hair. Short-wave is best for thin straight hair. Blend is best for distorted, twisted ingrown hair. We use both on the same area. [Top] 5. Which areas can be treated? All body areas, head to toe. All skin colors, even sun tanned and black skin. [Top] 6. What preparation is needed before laser treatment? Tanning should be avoided. Waxing, plucking, and bleaching should be avoided for at least several weeks prior to treatment. It is fine to trim or shave the hairs, in fact it is best to freshly shave the area just prior to treatment. If you are adverse to shaving, clipping the hairs short is O.K. Remember, minimize waxing, plucking and bleaching for several weeks prior to treatment. [Top] 7. What should I avoid? Sun exposure or tanning should be avoided. This can be accomplished by the use of sunscreens. The treated areas should be handled gently, avoiding the use of abrasive cleansers or topical acne preparations. If necessary, a topical antibiotic such as Bactroban (a prescription antibiotic available as a cream or an ointment) can be applied. Most patients experience no noticeable after-effects of laser hair removal. Now we have a laser perfectly safe for tanned skin. [Top] 8. What will I look like after the treatment?
In most instances, no perceptible skin changes are apparent. Rarely, mild redness and swelling may occur, but can be covered with makeup immediately. If redness occurs, it usually fades within 24 hours. [Top] 9. Benefits of Hair Removal.

Why do you have 3 different lasers?
We get better results when we alternate lasers. Each one targets a different hair depth. We start in the middle,then if we see a stubborn area, we apply Altus to target the deeper hair and then use Epilight to target thin shallow hair. People are not made like paper dolls. On the same body area we have deep (thick) and lighter (thin) hair. We have technology to treat all situations.[Top]
